cbeharie.com publishes daily briefings, including Today’s Top Five and The Morning Three, alongside articles on Jamaica, faith, leadership and life. This page explains how we handle sources, images and mistakes, so you always know where our information comes from.
How we use sources
- Every news story we cover links to the original reporting and names the outlet.
- We summarize in our own words. Quotations are short, clearly marked and attributed.
- Where possible, we check claims against primary sources such as official statements, published data and court documents. When reports conflict, we say so.
- Each briefing ends with a full list of sources, with the headline, outlet and date of every article we drew on.
Images
We use original charts, maps and graphics made for cbeharie.com, our own photographs, and freely licensed images credited as their license requires. We do not republish photos from news agencies or other publications.
How the briefings are made
Our daily briefings are prepared with the help of AI research and writing tools, under Colin Beharie’s editorial direction. Every fact is linked to its source so you can check it for yourself, and reflections or opinions are clearly presented as such.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix it promptly and add a dated correction note at the end of the article explaining what changed. Spotted an error? Please let us know.
Copyright concerns
If you believe your work has been used improperly on this site, please contact us. We will review it and respond promptly, and remove the material where appropriate.
