The short answer: there are no direct flights from Norway. Most people fly via London, Frankfurt, Zurich or Amsterdam to Montego Bay (MBJ), or via London Gatwick to Kingston (KIN). Flying via North America (Toronto, New York, Miami) is the other common route.

Some of these are seasonal or fly only a few days a week. Condor flies from Frankfurt on Wednesdays and Saturdays in winter 2026/27. Edelweiss flies only in winter and stops in Puerto Plata on the way. Neos and World2Fly are summer flights. Check the airline’s own schedule before you plan.

From Norway: the usual routes

  • Via London: Oslo, Bergen or Stavanger to Heathrow or Gatwick, then British Airways, Virgin or TUI. Allow at least 3 hours if you change airports.
  • Via Frankfurt: connect to Condor’s direct flight to Montego Bay.
  • Via Zurich: connect to Edelweiss.
  • Via North America: for example via Toronto or New York, useful for Kingston.
  • Total travel time is usually 15 to 20 hours door to door. Jamaica is 6 hours behind Norway (7 in the Norwegian summer).

When you land

  • Have your C5 form confirmation, return ticket and accommodation address ready (see Entry Requirements).
  • Pre-book your transfer, or use a licensed taxi with a red PP or PPV plate (see Getting Around).
  • Change a small amount of money or use an ATM inside the terminal (see Money and Costs).
