Who He Is
Zimmermann is Amund Zimmermann, a singer-songwriter from Sandefjord who writes warm, Norwegian-language songs built on guitar and live vocals.
The Rise
He debuted in 2022 with “Månen”, which spent 16 weeks on NRK P1’s A-list. Songs like “Renessanse”, “Ta med deg døra” and “Griper etter halmstrå” followed, along with sold-out Christmas concerts that have become an annual tradition.
Why He’s Trending
“I takt med deg”, his duet with Bjørn Eidsvåg, has now spent ten weeks on the Spotify Norway weekly chart, five of them at number one, and is still at No. 7. Zimmermann has five songs in the weekly top 100 in all, including “Kom som du er” with Daniela Reyes at No. 38 and “Puslespill” at No. 42.
